What is Microblading?
Microblading (or eyebrow enhancement) is a relatively new, manual method. Each practitioner has her own style/technique, as this is an artistic hand-drawn treatment, so no two clients will have the same result. It is considered to be semi-permanent, compared to the traditional hairstroke technique and lasts from 1 to 2 years.
Please note that you will need to attend a follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after your initial one, as we may need to make slight changes and also replace some strokes that have not stayed in place.
It is called many things – micropigmentation, tattooing, eyebrow embroidery, 6-D brows, etc. The term “6-D” refers to the visual effect of distinct hair strokes, as opposed to a brow that is “powdered-in” for a more solid effect. Gone are the days of stenciled, pasted-on looking eyebrows. This procedure does not damage or inhibit hair growth in the future. In fact, many alopecia clients see a surge of hair growth right after the procedure, as it stimulates the hair follicles.

- Less painful and faster than the machine – less repetition over the same area causing less trauma
- Far more natural result
- Hairs are drawn in a natural direction, it doesn’t look like a solid tattoo
- Thin disposable needles, thinner than the thinnest tattoo needle – drawn hairs are identical to real hair.
